Rules:
- Each team will preferably consist of 10 players, playing in 3 pairs. However, as few as 6 players can play with 4 playing two games but with different partners.
- If, on the night, a team has 5 players then one match is forfeit. If fewer than 5 players, then the match must be rearranged within two weeks. Failure to play within two weeks gives a 5-0 victory to the other team unless they refuse three alternative dates offered within that two weeks.
- To avoid delay on the evening, matches must start on 3 tables as few teams have 10 players.
- Each pair plays for one point, best of 3 legs.
- Each leg starts by drawing for the drop, then each hand within that leg the drop rotates clockwise.
- Each hand finishes with the first player to chip. If play stops before anyone chips, there is NO point for the lowest domino.
- If a player plays a wrong domino (that is the shown domino will not fit at either end), or a player drops or plays out of turn, or knocks when able to go, then the team takes a compulsory 8 points deduction (deduction delayed if less than 8 points on the board until 8 points are earned). The option to continue the hand or re-shuffle and re-start that hand rests with the team offended against.
- All results to be submitted by photo within 24 hours on the WhatsApp Group.
- There will be no prizes, hence no need of subscriptions. This also means we cannot have score cards printed so make your own. Score cards can be downloaded from the ‘Downloads’ Section of the website.
